Resolution of PDP Stakeholders in Okobo Local Government Area Supporting Governor Umo Eno and Condemning Unconstitutional Actions

THE COMMUNIQUE OF PDP STAKEHOLDERS IN OKOBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
1. That the stakeholders of Okobo Local Government Area join the State leadership of our great Party to heartily congratulate His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno on his landslide victory in the last Governorship election and subsequent inauguration into office as the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
2. That we are committed to continuously support the new administration of His Excellency, the Governor, to succeed, and we have no doubt whatsoever that he will justify the huge confidence reposed in him by the Akwa Ibom people given the golden steps so far taken.
3. That this meeting noted and reviewed the notice of emergency Stakeholders Meeting summoned by the Member representing the Okobo State Constituency, Hon. Bassey Pius Bassey at the private residence of the residence of the former Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Felicia Bassey on 8th July 2023 4. That the Meeting condemned, in totality, the unconstitutional actions of both Hon. Bassey Pius Bassey and Rt. Hon. Felicia Bassey, in the usurpation of the authority of the Chapter of the Party under the leadership of the
Chapter Chairman, and warned, for the last time, that further rebellious actions against the clear provisions of the Party will be visited with decisive disciplinary actions in accordance with the Party Constitution Inputs received from the Ward leaderships of the Party were collated and submitted to the Chapter Chairman for onward submission to the State Chairman of the Party in accordance with the directive of His Excellency, the Executive Governor.
