Essien Udim Local Government Council  dissolved

Essien Udim Local Government Council of Akwa Ibom State has been dissolved.

The Chairman of the Council, Mr. Raphael Isobara announced this in a statement issued in Afaha Ikot Ebak, the Council Headquarters.

He directs affected appointees to hand over council property in their possession to the Head of the Service of the Local Government with immediate effect.

Mr. Isobara wished them well in their future endeavors.

Essien Udim is the hometown of the immediate past Governor of the State, Chief Godswill Akpabio who is now an APC chieftain.
